  • Vicious Circle is less than a week away!

    kriss Community Manager

    Hi all!

The Games Team has been hard at work on Vicious Circle, and I can't believe how quickly the last few weeks flew by. We've had several closed betas, a super awesome open beta this past weekend, and now we are looking at launching next week.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone talking about Vicious Circle, who jumped into the betas, and offered crucial feedback on the game. If you're wondering how to support the game, you can wishlist the game on Steam right now, hop into the official RT Games Discord server and chat with the devs!

If you would like to get additional skins, like ramen boi below, you can pick up the Founder's Pack here when the game launches.

Look how cute this Ramen Lil Dipper is.  No joke, I have a similar bowl at home.

Being able to work more closely with the Games team has been really inspiring and eye-opening, and I hope you all enjoy what the team has put together. They are very passionate about Vicious Circle, and want the community the embrace the game just like Lil Dipper embraces its new body host.

More details to come. For now, get hype! WE ARE LAUNCHING A GAME NEXT WEEK. AHHHHHHH!!!!

  • Introducing FIRST+ and new pricing

    Hey everyone!

Today we’re excited to introduce a new tier of FIRST with some amazing benefits our Community has wanted for quite a while. This new annual tier is called FIRST+ and with it you’ll receive all the same great benefits of a 12-month FIRST membership, plus…

    • FREE domestic standard SHIPPING and 50% off domestic expedited shipping from the Rooster Teeth Store

    • 50% off international standard shipping from the Rooster Teeth Store

    • A FREE copy of our new game Vicious Circle for Windows PC

    • A FREE copy of the Vicious Circle FOUNDER’S PACK

    • A unique FIRST+ star by your username

    • And more to come

FIRST+ will be available starting August 12 for $119.99, charged on a yearly basis. We’ll have more fun and surprises for our FIRST+ members later down the road.

In a previous journal post, I also announced we will be increasing the price of FIRST for our existing tiers. On August 12, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. CT, the following new rates will go into effect across all FIRST membership plans:

    • Monthly: $5.99

    • 6 Months: $32.99

    • Annual: $59.99

The annual plan will also include a FREE copy of Vicious Circle for Windows PC when you sign up or renew your membership at the new annual rate (valid through the end of 2019).

All membership plans will be affected by this new pricing, including our grandfathered member rates. We are grateful for your continued support and hope you understand that it's time for us to move to a more uniform subscription price for all members. As a thank you, all our grandfathered users will also receive a FREE copy of Vicious Circle for Windows PC.

As always, if none of these options are interesting to you right now, there are still many ways to support Rooster Teeth, watch our content, and engage with the Community.

And speaking of the Community, I also want to give a brief update on the new community site we’ve been working on. Some of you have been invited to the closed beta and have been helping us immensely in its development. We will be opening the site to the public later this year. In the meantime, if you want access to the beta NOW, fill out this form and you’ll be added!

If you have questions about the pricing change, how or when the new rate will affect you, please check out this helpful FAQ or contact our community support team

Thank you for making what we do possible!

  • Exciting Rooster Teeth Announcements from SDCC (and Beyond)

Every year, tons of exciting announcements come out of SDCC. This year is especially exciting because Rooster Teeth made a few of those announcements.

In tonight’s panel, we released information and dates about some really cool stuff we have coming up over the next six months. However, before I jump into the news of what’s to come, I have some quick news about what has come and gone... and come again! FIRST members will be happy to see some familiar shows popping up on Rooster Teeth: the first season of Day 5 is available right now, the second season of Day 5 will release on a weekly basis starting August 20 (entire season available on October 8), and episodes of Crunch Time have already started rolling in on a weekly basis (entire season available on August 22).

Now onto the news from SDCC!

First things first, Immersion is coming to Shark Week on Discovery on Saturday, August 3 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern! In this special episode, the Immersion crew answers a wide range of shark-fueled questions by taking some of the most iconic shark moments from pop culture history and bringing them to real life.

But wait, there’s another exciting thing happening on August 3 at 11:30 p.m. Eastern: gen:LOCK premieres on Adult Swim! For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, gen:LOCK is a mecha-anime style series starring Michael B. Jordan, Maisie Williams, Dakota Fanning, and David Tennant. And don’t worry – gen:LOCK will remain on Rooster Teeth while it airs on Adult Swim.

For those of you who have been waiting to watch RWBY Volume 6 on YouTube, the wait is almost over. The first episode of RWBY Volume 6 will be released on the Rooster Teeth Animation YouTube Channel on Sunday, October 12, with ensuing episodes going up each week after that. Tell your friends!

“October” starts with an “O,” which is just the fancy intellectual name for “circle,” so it only makes sense that the much-anticipated first season of Arizona Circle will premiere on Rooster Teeth on October 23! FIRST members get early access, and it’ll be free for everyone else on Rooster Teeth seven days later.

Continuing with the theme of much-anticipated premieres, RWBY Volume 7 premieres on Rooster Teeth on Saturday, November 2 for FIRST members! Everyone else can watch it for free on Rooster Teeth a week later.

If you’re itching for even more RWBY, the iconic heroines will soon become playable in the hit game Smite! Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long will face their toughest challenge yet: The Battleground of the Gods. More info to come later this year.

After the holidays, we’ll be back to wish you a Happy New Fear! No, that’s not a typo. That’s just my clever way of announcing that a new season of Haunter is coming to Rooster Teeth in January 2020! FIRST members get priority access to episodes, and everyone else can watch for free on Rooster Teeth a week later.

Finally, I’d like to round out all these exciting announcements to let you know that our latest game, Vicious Circle, will be available on Steam for just $20 starting August 13! Vicious Circle is an uncooperative multiplayer shooter in which four mercenaries compete for loot against a terrifying monster who wants to kill them. Dirty tricks are the key to victory, and only one player can come out on top. It’s super fun and we can’t wait for you to experience it.

  • FIRST Membership Pricing

Hey, everyone -  Just wanted to make sure you heard about a bit of news from RTX.

In my Ask the CEO panel I let everyone know that later this summer we’re going to be increasing the price of our FIRST memberships, which will ensure that we can keep making cool stuff for our awesome community. If you want to lock in a really great deal on FIRST for a full year, you still have some time to sign up for our ridiculously cheap 12-month plan. We will have all of the details on the new pricing and benefits, including a new tier with a long requested perk we think a lot of people will really like, as well as answers to your questions later this month.

In the meantime, thank you for being a part of this great community and for all of the ways that you support us. We couldn’t do it without you.

  • RWBY Volume 7 Updates and RWBY at RTX!

Yo yo yo! RTX is this week and I’m freaking out! (In a good way :P)

RWBY 7 is going really well. I’ll talk about it more at the panel (Friday 1:00 p.m., Hall 1 at the ACC), but we’re off to a really strong start this year. We’re changing some things up (in some really positive ways) and I think it’s already showing some great results. I promise I’ll give more details at RTX, sorry to tease!

Speaking of RTX, I also wanted to confirm that we are planning to upload the panel afterwards on! So even if you aren’t there with us in person, you’ll still be able to check it out! And you’re going to want to check it out because we might be showing you new things, and talking about cool new stuff like maybe some games and books hoo boy it’ll be great. I’ll also post a journal talking about some of our biggest announcements after the panel, so you can read it straight from the horse’s mouth.

    (I’m the horse)

We’re also going to be changing up how we’re doing questions this year. Over the years we’ve gotten feedback about the Q&A portion and how it’s been done. Sometimes it’s the same question over and over again, or long stories (which are cool, don’t get me wrong), or questions about ships/end of the show/etc, but these can slow down the panel and not allow us to get to as many people or questions as we want to. With this new method, I honestly think it will work out a lot better and we’ll be able to answer a lot more questions in a fun and meaningful way. We plan on taking on a whole variety of topics, so if you’re coming don’t be afraid to write down whatever you want.

So, what’s the plan? Step 1: Make sure that you have the RTX App downloaded (get it for iOS or Android). Step 2: Friday morning, a couple of hours before the panel, a push notification will go out detailing how to fill out the new Q&A Form. Step 3: Attend the panel and hear what questions we’ll be answering!

One more thing that’s obviously had a lot of conversation around it is who will be voicing Qrow. 2019 has been a wild year for me as I grow and develop my role and responsibilities as a creator, and for my own mental sanity, I’m choosing to move forward on a lot of these topics in a positive light. To that end, I can’t think of anything more positive than to have Jason Liebrecht voice Qrow Branwen. We’re incredibly excited to be working with him and he’s already doing an amazing job.

Please welcome him and send him some love!

Alright, I’m gonna get back to work! Thanks for reading, see you at RTX!

  • Our response to the recent Reddit thread about RT Animation

We have seen the recent messages about Rooster Teeth’s animation studio related to crunch, and want everyone to know we take these concerns seriously. We acknowledge that we could have better managed our animation pipeline, and we apologize to all who have been affected.

Over the last several months we conducted a review and have taken several steps to improve communication and workflow to ensure we have a studio where people are happy to come to work every day. We are announcing today new measures on the road to improvement.

Effective today, we are moving forward with a previously planned change in our producing and creative structure. Gray G. Haddock is stepping down as head of studio for animation to dedicate himself to a strictly creative role. With Gray’s help, we have been in the process of hiring a new production head of the department, who will be responsible for the overall producer hierarchy and staff management. We want to thank Gray for his hard work and dedication to growing the animation studio over these years, and are excited to continue working with him in this new capacity.

Further, we are consulting with experienced leaders in the animation industry on our workflow, pipeline, production structure and other areas to enhance the workplace experience for our staff. Margaret M. Dean, the head of Ellation animation studios and president of Women In Animation, will consult with us and aid the search for a new studio lead.

We’ll always continue to work on improvements to our workplace, and we appreciate everyone’s support and feedback on this ongoing mission.

  • Austin Film Festival - Digital Series & Fiction Podcast Competition - Deadline July 5!!!

    Chelsea RT Community Manager

You’ve seen Day 5 and gen:LOCK, but have you seen yourself writing a show?

If so, you should finish that script and send it in to the Austin Film Festival for a chance to win their scripted Digital Series or Fiction Podcast competition! We announced this competition for the Rooster Teeth Fellowship Award back in March and this is your reminder that the July 5 deadline is FAST approaching.

The Rooster Teeth Fellowship Awardis still open to original comedy scripts in theDigital Series and Fiction Podcast script competitions. Both competitions celebrate episodic storytelling. The Digital Series Competition is intended for scripts that tell short form episodic stories written for the web, while the Fiction Podcast Competition is intended for scripts that tell an episodic story written for an audio-only medium. For both of these categories, writers can submit up to three episodes.

The fellowship will be awarded to the project that best fits Rooster Teeth's voice by incorporating elements of comedy and genre filmmaking and accomplishing a low budget/high concept feel. Rooster Teeth is looking for stories about ordinary people in extraordinary situations, coming-of-age stories, and other engaging journeys of self-discovery.

The winner of the Rooster Teeth Fellowship Award will receive a $5,000 prize along with a one-on-one mentorship with Rooster Teeth. This will include feedback and notes from a Rooster Teeth representative on the winning Fellowship script and a week-long mentorship in Austin with all travel expenses covered. In addition to the Fellowship Award, Rooster Teeth will offer development deals to three (3) finalists, who will be given the chance to develop an original concept in conjunction with the Rooster Teeth team. Rooster Teeth will review the top scripts submitted to the category and will determine the finalists and one winner. Finalists will be given the opportunity to meet with representatives from Rooster Teeth during AFF’s Writers Festival, held this October 24 –31, 2019.

Your entry in this year’s competition could be the entry point you’ve been working and waiting for for – a career in writing for film and television. So why wait? Deadline is July 5th so - ENTER NOW!

  • First time to RTX? Here's what you need to know!

    kriss Community Manager

    Hello RTX first timers!

First off, thank you so much for joining us for a weekend of RT shenanigans. Second, I have seen that for many of you, this is the first time you are attending RTX and/or attending your first convention ever! Today, I will be providing some helpful advice and things you need to know for RTX!

    For general convention best practices:

towerJuly is HOT HOT HOT! Be mindful of this as you walk around outside. Drink water and keep some small snacks with you. There's a lot of stuff to do during the weekend, and sometimes you can forget to drink and eat. Make sure you take care of yourself!

towerSpeaking of walking! Make sure that you wear comfortable shoes. You will be doing A LOT of walking. So if you have new shoes, break those babies in now!

towerUse hand sanitizer and wash your hands frequently. Post con crud is a thing. You will be around a lot of people. Personally, I tend to the fist bump people during shows.

towerBe mindful of cleanliness in general. I know this is a weird point to make, but hygiene is super important to not only yourself but other attendees. Use deodorant and shower once or even twice (remember July is hot!).

towerIf you are networking, remember to bring your business cards!

towerIF YOU ARE ATTENDING WITH YOUR CHILD, please use landmarks in the area or the registration desk as a location point in case you are ever separated and need to reconvene.

towerThere is a lot to do at every convention. Understand that you may not be able to see everything you want. Create your schedule (I will write about the RTX app down below), and figure out your priorities as well as a plan B or C.

tower Be mindful of your budget. There are different practices for everyone on how to keep track of their spending, but one solid way to keep yourself from not spending a lot is using pre-loaded VISA cards. Load in a certain amount, use that card only, keep yourself within budget. Tada! For emergencies, keep cash or another card in your hotel room.

Important things to know for RTX proper:

tower Important social channels to follow on Twitter:

@RTXEvent = main social channel for the event

@RTXLines = updates on panel line statuses

    Support email:

    Main website:

towerOne of our amazing community groups compiled a list of places to eat near the ACC! The original post was made last year, so the panel information has expired, however there is a TON of recommendations on places to eat toward the second half of the post.

towerThe RTX app for iOS / Android will have information on all the programming that will be presented during RTX. This includes schedules of talent, panels, center stage entertainment, and the ability to create your own schedule. The app should be updating on 6/14/19 to reflect the 2019 programming schedule.

towerWho are those people in the purple shirts that says GUARDIAN on them? They are our awesome volunteers who help us run RTX! If you have a question, concern, you're lost, or need assistance in some way, please flag a Guardian and they will assist to the best of their ability. Please note that Guardians are not security. If you feel that there is a situation that requires ACC security, a Guardian will be able to help you get in contact with them.

towerOur wonderful Events Specialist, Nicole, put together a very comprehensive post going over the security plan for RTX 2019. This is a really important post to read, so please take the time to go through it.
towerYou may see RT personalities roaming around. Yes, it's okay to ask for a signature or a photo, but please understand that they have a schedule to keep. If they say they have to take off, please let them. If a Guardian is ushering talent away, please let them do their jobs.

towerYou will make new friends! The coolest thing about RTX is that you will have something in common with everyone who is attending. Strike up a conversation if you're waiting in line for a panel, attend some community events, get to know the people who make up this community. There are so many awesome people to meet!

What are some community-focused areas of RTX?

towerThe RTX App will have loads of info on different panels to see including the lineup for Community Panels! You can see all the panels here and/or keep track of them in the RTX App.

towerWe have a Community Corner set up on the expo floor that will showcase various artistic talent from the community. And yes, these will also be in the RTX app for you to add to your schedule. View the list here!

towerThere are a ton of community events happening before and during RTX as well! Some events are open to public, some are ticketed. I compiled a list that serves as a living document and will be updated any time I add a new event. View the list here!

That's it for now! I know it's a A LOT of info to process, but we always want to make sure that everyone is informed and has the best time at RTX. Special thanks to @Antharwn from RT World in helping me get this together!

  • WHAT?! RTTV has new updates today!

    Chelsea RT Community Manager

    Hey everyone!

I have some fantastic news to share with you all today. RTTV, which many of you have become frequent watchers of in the last few months, is getting a nice feature update for the beta on both web and mobile apps! For those of you who haven’t checked it out yet, RTTV is a FIRST member-only 24-hour, 7-days a week streaming channel filled with an assortment of content (scheduled out in these blocks) with breaks for live shows. Now, onto the updates!

First of all, there will now be a shiny LIVE indicator which you’ll be able to see from any page in the left navigation bar, and the new RTTV icon in the mobile apps. Any time a show goes live, this little baby will light up. (So, when that happens - click it. Watch whatever is on and chat with the community.)

Second, there will be a carousel on both the front page of and on RTTV where it will show the schedule of our live shows.

Finally, there will be another schedule. A BIG schedule. A schedule of epic proportions. This schedule will be below the video player on desktop web and a separate tab on mobile. This schedule breaks out everything that will be streaming for the next 24 hours, with special indicators for live events.

That’s all for today, folks! So go on, head over to now to check out the schedule and start chatting with other community members.

    Have fun!

  • Throw the Perfect Camp Camp Watch Party!!!

Attention all campers: we’re excited to welcome you back to Camp Campbell for another season of Camp Camp!

To get you primed for another summer of dysfunction, we’ve got a short guide on how to throw the PERFECT Camp Camp Watch Party. (I know it sounds hard to believe, but this ain't hyperbole.)

What’s a party without a little decor? Fortunately, decorating for a camp party is easy. Grab your camping gear (mugs, lantern, plaid tablecloth, sleeping bags), some leaves, branches, logs, or pine cones. Nature is a cornucopia of free decoration! Set the mood for the great outdoors with a picnic basket, binoculars, and string lights.

Speaking of strings lights, haven’t put your Christmas tree away yet? You’re such a visionary. How clever people will think you are for using it as a perfect backdrop for the viewing area or snack bar. If you have room, pitch a small tent or decorate with canvas! See our Camp Camp Party pics for inspiration!

    Food Spread

What’s a party without some grub? We’ve got some special recipes for you- and if you’re up early to watch as it airs, you’ll have some fun decorating a not-quite-brunch-but-it’ll-do spread. We’ve got some options that aren’t only fun, but they’ll take some of the decorating work off your hands.

    Flower Scout Campfire Cookies

    -Sugar cookies

    -Green icing

    -Gummy Bears

    -Mini Rod Pretzels

    -Mini Marshmallows

    -Mini Tootsie Rolls

    1. Arrange Sugar Cookies for decorating

    2. Spread layer of green icing over the top

    3. Separate red, orange and yellow gummy bears from other colors

    4. Cut red, orange and yellow gummy bears into dices

    5. Top icing in center of cookies with a crumble of diced gummys

    6. Take 3 mini stick pretzels-nestle them in icing and balance them above gummy flame effect in a "tipi" arrangement. Allow to set. This may take some patience and shoring up with tootsie rolls!

    7. Top with miniature marshmallow

    8. Present on a nice plate or display across your serving table!

*If necesssry, use icing or a small dab of melted chocolate to maintain pretzel structure

*Bonus for slightly toasted mini mallows!

    Pinot Roar Sangria

-Pinot Noir (or Gris... or other favorite wine!)

    -Chopped strawberries with stems removed

    -Chopped Cantaloupe

    -Chopped Pineapple

Select favorite Pinot noir or Pinot Gris

    1. Chop strawberries, cantaloupe and pineapple

    2. Place fruit in layers, starting with strawberries, then cantaloupe and pineapple, in base of pitcher. Try to keep fruit to roughly 50% of pitcher volume!

    3. Pour wine into pitcher

    4. Top with ice and server; keep refrigerated for refreshing outdoor drink!

Gwen's "Do It Yourself You Mother****ers!" B.M. ( DIY Bloody Mary Bar)

There is no greater debate at brunch than the best place to get a B.M.- so put your friends On The Spot and make them show you just how to make the perfect Bloody Mary. All you need is to provide the ingredients (let your imagination run wild) and some long skewers. Makes for a great alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink! (Serve with ice!) Arrange ingredients jars or dishes. Compare YOUR weirdest Bloody Mary concoctions and share with the world and tag on social.

    Ingredients Options:

    -Tomato juice

    -Clamato juice

    -Horseradish (we recommend creamy)

    -Wasabi paste

-Assortment of hot sauces (including Tabasco)

    -Worcestershire sauce

    -Celery salt

    -Black pepper

    -Smoked paprika

    -Lime wedges

    -Lemon wedges

    -Mini dill pickles

    -Celery stalks

    -Parsley sprigs

    -Pearl onions

    -Crispy bacon

    -Cocktail Shrimp

    -More bacon

    -Hot dogs

    -Deviled eggs

    -Ham sandwiches

    -Uncooked ramen noodles

    -A rack of spare ribs

    -A shoe insert

-Don’t put a shoe insert in your Bloody Mary

David's "Let's Do It Together Campers!" S’more Bar

Think the same as DIY Bloody Mary's, but less judgement from your friends for putting your shoe insert in your drink! For a fun twist on a s'more, consider having giant marshmallows prepped on skewers for dipping into melted chocolate(low-heat is easiest!) ready to dip into traditional ingredients like crushed graham crackers or drizzle with caramel or sprinkles!

    Ingredients Options:

    -Giant marshmallows

-Mini chocolate bars (try dark chocolate or specialty chocolates!) melt in advance for a fresh twist

    -Graham crackers

    -Coconut flakes

    -Crushed toffee

    -Potato chips

    -Crushed Oreo

    -Peanut butter

    Camp Campbell Classic Trail Mix

Sweet. Salty. Crunchy. Chewy. Filling. Trail Mix is great for setup in the viewing area or makes a neat parting gift. It's cheap, easy to make, and can be stored for your summer outdoor adventures. There are so many different takes on how to make a great Trail Mix, but consider these options!

    Ingredients Options:

-Assorted nuts (peanuts and cashews are go-tos!)

-Assorted dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, mango, pineapple, etc.)

-Assorted miniature chocolate candies (chocolate chips morsels)

    -Crunchy cereal (try Chex mix!)

    -Mini pretzels and crisps

    -Mini marshmallows

    -Pumpkin seeds

    -Glazed walnuts

Consider your own take on other brunch items... pancakes or waffle bar, bagels, or egg casserole. Most are very hands off or easy to prepare the night before, which makes it easy for the host or hostess to focus on activities for guests like pictionary, Watch Party Bingo, or coming up with that secret handshake for your friend group.

Season 4 of Camp Camp premieres Saturday, June 1 with 18 episodes so you have plenty of excuses to get together all season for brunch or sleepover themed Camp Camp get-togethers. Need to prepare? Catch our Camp Camp mini-marathon after the Off-Topic Podcast on Friday May, 31 with a selection of our favorite episodes!

Don't forget to drink and Camp Camp responsibly.

  • Update Incoming for Android Mobile

    Chelsea RT Community Manager

    Howdy all!

For those of you who have been using our mobile apps, thank you! You've been a part of helping us find new ways to deliver content to you in an easy and fun way. You've helped submit bugs and feedback and for that, the team working on these apps couldn't be happier.

We have a major app update coming soon to both iOS and Android devices, (3.0) which will deliver some really cool features such as a CHANNEL tab on the bottom navigation!

With this update, we will also be ending support for devices running Android 4.x. Our new lowest minimum support OS version will be Android 5.0. (To check what version of Android you are running, go to your system Settings, scroll to About, and look for Android Version.)

If you are running Android 5.0 or later, you don't have anything to worry about, carry on! Enjoy the upcoming update and continue watching videos.

If you are running a version below 5.0, here's what you need to know:

You aren't going to receive any app updates going forward. For the time being, you will be able to continue using your version of the app, and can even install that final version (2.2.0) on your device. At some point in the future that version of the app will stop working. Once that happens, in order to keep watching the Rooster Teeth content you love, you'll need to update your phone OS version (if available), or watch on mobile web by visiting the site in your phone's web browser.

Thank you for all of your continued support!

  • Camp Camp Season 4 Coming Soon!

    Jordan Campe Diem

Goooood morning, campers! It’s your old pal Jordan, here to update you on the latest in the world of Camp Camp.

I’ll start with the most exciting part: Camp Camp season 4 will be here before you know it! The new season premieres Saturday, June 1! This season is looking to be Camp Camp’s biggest yet, mostly because it will run for a whopping 18 episodes. EIGHTEEN. We’ll be camp-camping all the way ‘til the end of September this year and it’s going to be awesome. The season will be available exclusively on the Rooster Teeth site; FIRST members get early access to episodes, and then the public can watch them for free a week later. If you remember, that’s how last season worked, so nothing is changing on that front.

Speaking of last season, I have some good news for you! Camp Camp season 3 is coming to the all-new Rooster Teeth Animation YouTube channel starting June 1, with episodes posted every week. So if you like watching things on YouTube, that’s one way to do it! If you don’t want to wait a week between episodes, you can binge the first three seasons of Camp Camp directly on the Rooster Teeth site – for free – right now! No profile, sign-in, or free trial required.

I hope you’re excited for Camp Camp season 4. We have a lot of great episodes this year, so I’m looking forward to sharing them with you all. Have a great summer, and CAMPE DIEM!

  • Vicious Circle: Rooster Teeth's Uncooperative Shooter Dropping 2019

Hey Noodles! I'm super excited to share with you ACTUAL REAL LIFE DETAILS ABOUT VICIOUS CIRCLE, you know- that super secret game Rooster Teeth has been working on?

Or perhaps it's SUCH a good secret you DON'T actually know anything about it yet >.>

Well let me remedy that. I'm very proud to finally be able to share some information about Vicious Circle with you and the rest of the English speaking world.

Vicious Circle is, what we like to call it, an uncooperative multiplayer shooter. It's a five man free-for-all featuring one player randomly spawning in as an alien abomination and four mercenaries fighting for loot and the sole chance to escape.

Gameplay is fast-paced and guaranteed to keep you on your toes until the last seconds of the match- and you'll want to take advantage of every corner, pickup, or hiding spot to turn the tides of the game in your favor.

If you haven't had a chance, please follow the Rooster Teeth Games Twitter for the first place information drops!

Check out our latest update here:

Can't wait to get uncooperative with you all later this year and at RTX <3

    Hey animfans, been a while!

Let's start with a huge round of virtual applause for the Red vs. Blue team as they wrap up their cosmically comedic 17th season this coming Saturday, May 25.

What's next, you may ask? Camp Camp is coming back for its biggest season yet, with season 4 debuting on Rooster Teeth June 1! No joke, this season is huge.

Speaking of huge, we have some news for you. If you're a YouTube aficionado and you still need your Rooster Teeth Animation fix, you’ll be happy to hear that Rooster Teeth Animation is getting our very own home on YouTube! The previous Red vs. Blue YouTube channel is becoming the Rooster Teeth Animation channel. It will continue to host Red vs. Blue content along with full episodes of other Rooster Teeth Animation series, as well as brand-new, never-before-seen stuff!

Camp Camp season 3 will debut on the new Rooster Teeth Animation YouTube channel starting June 1, and will continue weekly thereafter. After that, RWBY Volume 6 will be posted starting October 12!

We’re excited to spread more animated happiness in more places around the good ol’ World Wide Web. Stay tuned for more exciting animation news throughout the summer!

  • Rooster Teeth Partnership + Full Sail University 2019!

    Miles Miles

Hey, folks! Are you interested in animation? How about game development? PRODUCTION, YOU SAY? Welllll, I have some good news! Turns out we have some awesome things coming up with Full Sail University in the next few months and I wanted to give y’all a little update!

First up, we're excited to be heading out to Full Sail's 10th annual Hall of Fame Week. Our all-star recruiter Brooke will kick things off at their recruiting event on May 20, and then Jordan Cwierz (@Jordan), Chris Kokkinos (@ChrisKO), and I will be in attendance from May 22 - 23 for a Rooster Teeth panel, a livestream, a meet and greet event and checking out as many Hall of Fame events as we can. I'll also have the honor of giving a keynote speech on May 23, AND I’M DEFINITELY NOT NERVOUS ABOUT IT AT ALL.

You may not know this, but we have a lot of Full Sail alums on staff at Rooster Teeth, so it's kinda wild to think I may end up speaking to some future members of our team. We hope it's going to be a good time and we're excited to check out all of the other activities and panels going on, too!

After that undoubtedly awesome event, Full Sail will be bringing you an extra special episode of RTAA that discusses the animation process launching at RTX this year!

We’re also working with Full Sail to bring you some collaborative podcasts and livestreams on animation. First, we're teaming up for a series of RT Podcast segments with animators and Full Sail alums who will talk about the animation process with Gus. These episodes will air live on May 20, June 3, June 17, and July 8. Meanwhile, we'll also be hosting livestreams on the Rooster Teeth YouTube channel to talk about the whole animation process and answer questions from both our online community and Full Sail students in the classroom. The first of these livestreams will take place at Full Sail University during the Hall of Fame Week on May 22 at 4:00 p.m. CT, and then the rest will be at Rooster Teeth. We’ll keep you posted on specific details as those dates get closer.

And last but definitely not least, Full Sail will have a booth at this year’s RTX (July 5 – 7) and hosting three Introduction to Animation sessions that weekend plus hosting mini-workshops in their booth with our attendees and share more about what they offer through the university, both on campus and online. It’s the perfect opportunity for anyone considering this kind of career field to ask questions and learn more about the types of educational programs that are out there.

Soooo YEAH, there's lots of really great stuff happening with this partnership and we're excited to be teamed up with an institution that does so much to further the art of animation. We'd love to meet Rooster Teeth fans and Full Sail students at the events, but if you can't be there in person, be sure to check out the RT Podcast episodes and get your questions ready for the livestreams!

  • Fit4RTX Kickoff Today!

    Chelsea RT Community Manager

    Hey everyone!

RTX is just around the corner and with it, the biggest party of our Rooster Teeth friends and family! Whether you’re hanging out with us in-person in Austin or joining in the excitement with us online, we’ll all be celebrating soon.

To get ready for that, a lot of us here at Rooster Teeth are participating in a company-supported  Fit4RTX event. We’re doing group workouts and all in all trying to take on healthier and better habits moving towards a healthier life.

But, I’ve seen how many of you have participated in your own goals and challenges on social media, using #fit4rtx over the years. That’s awesome! Keep at it, I can’t wait to see what you all are trying to do.

To help or supplement what you already may be doing, @kriss and I have put together a 8-Week daily workout challenge. Each Monday I’ll post the week’s workout graphic both here on the RT Site and on the @RoosterTeeth Instagram story. (Please note that this challenge is meant to be FUN and offer you a starting point in crafting a weekly routine. You can totally do more or less than what the graphic suggests.)

So, what’s your goal? If you feel comfortable telling us, say so in the comments! My goal is to lose 10 pounds - I’m not one to actually work out EVER so I hope this is a start in the right direction. We’ll be back every Monday with a new graphic and updates!

    Lumenati Let's Play

Hello friends, it’s been a while since we’ve done one of these.

Let’s get right into it. I’m going to tell you about a handful of new partners that I’m happy to announce today.

Troy Baker & Nolan North are partnering with Rooster Teeth! The dulcet-toned duo launched their own take on the let’s play format last year. They’ve been friends of Rooster Teeth for some time, and I’m excited to officially welcome them to the community. You may have caught them recently on Always Open. Look out for their merch to launch in the RT Store soon and for more cameos in the future.

Check out their new Uncharted series! Yes, that’s right: Nathan Drake is playing Nathan Drake.

Hailing from beyond The Wall, give a big welcome to Woolie & Pat, lords of Castle Super Beast!  Check out the guys together on the Castle Super Beast podcast, or separately on their Twitch (Woolie/Pat) and YouTube (Woolie/Pat) channels. Let's ook back on their first collaboration with the Achievement Hunter crew:

If it wasn’t already obvious, a big welcome to Chilled, GaLm, and Tom to the family! We’ve loved having these guys over the Achievement Hunter office recently, and you can watch some great collabs here:

We’re excited to welcome these new faces to the family and hope you check out their channels, podcasts, and streams and lend them your support.

But the most exciting thing of all? Everyone I just mentioned is coming to RTX 2019!

That’s all I have for today. Thanks for reading and hope to see you all soon at RTX!
